Day Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu, 1,300 m, and transfer to a hotel.
On the first arrival via respective airlines, landing at Kathmandu, Nepal International Airport. The Loong Adventures staff and guide will receive you for a short transfer to your hotel in the heart of Kathmandu.

An early breakfast for a long and exciting overland journey to Timang at Manang. The drive heads west beyond Kathmandu valley, and then on winding downhill following the country’s busy highway for some hours. The drive then diverts from the Mugling Bazaar heading due west on the Kathmandu/Pokhara Highway at Dumre Town. From here, the road enters the Lamjung district at Bhesishar through farm villages and towns. The drive follows the Masrsyangdi River to Syange and then climbs towards cooler hills. The road gets quite bumpy and rough in a few sections till you reach Tal Besi and Dharapani Villages. The entrance to Manang district, from here, the climate gets cooler.
The houses and people differ as you enter the Buddhist highland country, with grand views of the Annapurna, Lamjung, and Manaslu Himalayas. Slowly, the rough dirt country road reaches Timang for an overnight halt in the comfort of a simple and nice lodge. Timang Village is at 2,620 meters (8,600 feet). From Timang, enjoy the stunning views of the Annapurna and Manaslu mountain ranges.

From Timang, the morning drive follows a forested trail to Kodo village and reaches Chame, the district headquarters of Manang. The drive leads across a bridge over the Masrsyangdi River and then climbs up to a hilltop at Dukure Pokhari, with few lodges and shops.
A nice spot with views of majestic Pisang Peak, from here heading down to a flat valley. Slowly, the drive reaches Pisang village for a short rest, from lower Pisang, leaving the Annapurna Circuit trail. An hour or less hike to upper Pisang for an overnight halt in the comfort of a nice, simple lodge. From Upper Pisang, stunning views of Pisang Peak and Chulu’s, including the Annapurna Himalayan range.
