Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu 1,345 m and transfer to respective hotels.
On arrival at Kathmandu and Nepal International Airport, received by our guides and staff for short transfers to your hotels in the hub of Kathmandu city. Checking your lovely room, and after a refreshing rest join for group briefing, about the treks, do’s and don’ts, local culture, as well as camping, foods and of lodges en route trekking. Adventure begins with an early morning exciting drive towards Nepal Mid-West, driving on the Nepal’s main highway. Heading through interesting towns and villages to reach Arughat around the district of Gorkha. From here drive continues on rough dirt tracks, following Budi-Gandaki River upstream around low warm paddy fields to Soti-Khola. From Maccha-Khola village, morning walk heading past farm villages amidst nice cultivated crop fields. The walk follows upstream to Khola-Besi village and Tatopani a place with natural hot spring. As time permits enjoy the warm refreshing bathe, as walk continues to Dovan for lunch.
Afternoon walk leads to a steep up towards Yara Khola. From here an hour climb to Jagat village for overnight stop, a nice farm village with number of good lodges with shops and stores. Jagat is the entry point to restricted areas of Upper Manaslu, where special permits and MCA (Manaslu Conservation Area) ticket required.

From Shayla, todays a short walk to Sama Gaon, but our trail first leads to an old monastery of Pungyen Gompa. Where one can enjoy fascinating views along with impressive Buddhist religion and cultures, as the walk heads uphill. Reaching an isolated Pungyen Gompa stands at 4,700 m high, facing spectacular views of Mt. Manaslu and surrounding peaks. The monastery is hermitage for Buddhist monks for retreat and meditation, on this lovely serene hilltop. From here downhill to Sama-Gaon, for overnight stop, as well as for late lunch in this lovely large village. Sama Gaon falls on the route to Manaslu base camp, and Larke-La Pass as well towards Tibet border.

LodgeDay 12 Cross Larke-La Pass 5,106 m and to Bhimthang 3,590 m - 07 hrs.
From Dharmasala or Larke Phedi, start early morning for a steep climb over
moraine of rocks and boulders. The walk follows north towards Larke glacier, with views of Cheo Danda and Larke Peak. As climb get steeper on winding sloped ridge then reach the top of Larke-La.
The highest and toughest climb of the adventure, the Larke-La with a board, and name of the pass and altitude. Adorned with thousands of Buddhist colorful prayer flags, enjoy the panorama of surrounding giant mountains of Himlung Himal. Includes Cheo Himal, Kang Guru and Annapurna-II with Manaslu group of peaks as far as Ganesh Himal towards east. After a spectacular panoramic views, head for a long descend past a place called Larcia, and further down to Tambuche. Then reach the bottom of the pass with few hours walk to Bhimthang for overnight stop. Bhimthang is a lovely place, situated in Manang district with nice lodges adorned with prayer walls, amidst rhododendron and pines forest.

Morning after breakfast, a short climb to cross a bridge to reach Dharapani village then ending the walk for a day. Taking the comfort of exciting drive to Kathmandu. The drive leads past Tal Besi, the last village of Manang district, then heading downhill to lower warm Lamjung district.
Reaching a large town of Bhesishar, the district headquarters of Lamjung area. From here on the good road joining the main highway of Pokhara and Kathmandu. An enjoyable overland journey through farm areas, villages and towns then on winding uphill towards Kathmandu Valley rim.
From the west end of Kathmandu valley, a short drive back to your hotels, arriving by evening. On time for dinner and rest before retiring for the nights in a lovely hotel room.

The foods are according as listed on the menu, from breakfast, lunch, dinner or main courses. In Nepal, the most favorite and popular national food and meal is Nepali Dal Bhat, boiled or steamed rice. Spring Seasons:
The spring season begins from March and end in May, a lively and high seasons
for trekking and various adventures. Including Manaslu Circuit Trekking, spring
season when wildflowers are in blooming times. Especially, the rhododendrons of
various species and colors, it is also the nation flower. Spring time when days are
much longer with sunlight hours from early 5:30 a.m. till late 6 p.m.

Can get cloudy during afternoon with cold wind-chill factor, expect light snow fall above 3,000 meters. Most of the heavy dark monsoon clouds are obstructed by the Himalayan range
of towering peaks. This is why most of the areas around Manaslu Valley are arid
and dry, during monsoon time. Gets light showers and snow-fall as well, can enjoy
the trekking around Summer of Monsoon. The best time in summer is from early
June to mid-July before the heavy rainfall. Sometimes the motorable country
rough road to Machha-Khola or from Dharapani to Kathmandu, can get disrupted
by landslides. Despite the wet times of summer of monsoon period, but much
warmer temperatures with longer day lights.
Trekkers can cover longer distances to overnight stops in a good time. An interesting time for peaceful trekking, encountering fewer trekking during the low season of summer and monsoon time. The high valleys and mid hills will be very green with lush vegetation.

The Budhi Gandaki River and smaller streams will be swollen with fast current; the

If it’s too much to carry from your home country some of the necessary equipment can be hired or bought in Kathmandu. Most of the equipment is general and standard lists for all seasons while on trek, but may differ as per the season and duration of trekking and areas of your chosen trip.
- Sun hat or scarf.
- Light balaclava or warm fleece head gear.
- Sun glasses and snow goggles with UV protection.
- Under Garments. Hiking shorts. During late spring and early autumn.
- Lightweight cotton long pants. Thermal inner garment for winter.
- Fleece or wool pants (seasonal). Waterproof (preferably breathable fabric) shell pants.
- Thin, lightweight inner socks. Thick, warm wool hiking socks.
- Hiking boots with spare laces.
- Camp shoes (sneakers and/or sandals).
- Gaiters for hiking in winter.
